Let’s be honest – we’ve all mastered the art of… not doing the thing.
We prepare, schedule, make lists, tell our friends, scroll for inspiration, even write posts about how we’re totally going to do the thing. But here’s the truth: none of that is the thing.
There’s only one way forward: stop circling, start doing.
That’s why writing the to-do list feels good, but doesn’t actually move you forward.
The trick is catching yourself in the act:
• Are you preparing, or are you doing?
• Are you endlessly researching, or are you taking the first step?
• Are you imagining the applause, or are you sweating through the work
Remember: Preparing is useful, planning is smart – but the only thing that matters in the end… is doing the thing.
