The ONE Thing That Made a Difference 1️⃣

I wanted to write this email to share something I’ve learned years ago, and it becomes more and more important. Some time ago I got tired of “working hard” in order to achieve my goals. Trying to work more, harder or even smarter to reach your personal and business goals gets tiring after a while. It happens to the best of us.

Then, I had the opportunity to listen to some smart people who I consider to be very successful – and I went for it. If someone is truly successful (in my opinion) you can realize in a few seconds by being in their presence and feeling their aura, joy, energy and seeing their eyes sparkle. It has little to do with how known, famous, liked, or wealthy they are. They always enjoy excellent health and had all what they desired and when they desired it. Abundance in all areas of their lives is a natural add on. This is of course quite contrary to popular opinion and hard to digest in our media environment.

I went for it and listened to them. After that, I felt so refreshed and gained so much clarity on how to be truly successful.

I realized that there’s this ONE thing that made such a big difference for me when it comes to achieving your dreams… Subconsciously I was doing it more and more, but it suddenly dawned on me how without this ONE thing, everything just falls apart sooner or later…

Yes, it is to STOP directing all of your energy to the outside world most of the time. It is STOP being mostly directed by your senses, moods/emotions, and even your (monkey mind) “thoughts”.
It’s so important because you may have realized that the outside world rarely behaves in the way we would like it. There is always something (someone) which bothers us. So why not keeping some of our precious energy to work on the INSIDE. After all, it’s only us inside, there is no one else and we can decide from moment WHAT to think, and how to perceive the outside world, situations, events. When we make it beautiful on the inside (which IS in our power) the outside will soon reflect this.

Here are some of the ways you can practice this:
● Set up a proper morning routine where you do some of the INNER WORK, activities like meditation, journaling, being grateful, journal writing, setting your intentions for the day etc.

● Check in during the day with yourself often by asking “How am I feeling” – if it’s less than perfect check your head: “What am I thinking” and change your thought into a more helpful one. You can never feel “bad” without the corresponding thought.

● Use affirmations like “This will pass too” if things bother you on the outside and realize the impermanence of all things and situations. You can ask yourself “Will this still be relevant to me 5 years from now?”

This so called “INNER WORK” makes up actually a big part of my mentoring work with clients. Join us for our monthly webinar at the end of each month with related topics or let me know your specific question.
